Gaffer support
Gaffer is a fantasy football game run by Nipomo Soccer Club for its own
players. If something is wrong, write to
admin@nipomosoccer.com and say which
season you are in and what you were doing. A person reads it.
Common things

| Sign in does nothing |
Gaffer signs in with Google or Apple only. There is no password. If
the button does nothing, the device is blocking the sign-in window;
allow pop-ups for this site and try again. |
| My lineup will not save |
A lineup locks at the first kickoff among the players in your squad,
and each slot locks again at that player's own kickoff. After the lock
the app will not take a change. That is the rule, not a fault. |
| My points look wrong |
Every point comes from a countable action and the point table is
published at the front page. Open your scorecard: it
lists the actions behind each number. If one is wrong, the match feed is
wrong; tell us which player and which match. |
| A player is not in the list |
Only players in the leagues Gaffer covers are pickable, and only
where the feed carries enough detail to score them honestly. If the feed
cannot score a match, that match is left out rather than guessed. |
| I want my account deleted |
Email the address above from the account's own address. See the
privacy page. |
What Gaffer deliberately does not do
There is no chat, no direct messaging, and no free text a player can write
that another player can read. There is no money in it: no entry fee, no prize,
no purchase of any kind. It is a club game about watching football properly.
